1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing our website or engaging Cwd. for services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you are prohibited from using this site or our services.

2. Services & Scope

Cwd. provides bespoke web engineering services. The specific scope is defined in your project proposal or the service tier selected below.

2.1 Foundation Rental Plan Inclusions

The "Managed Rental" subscription explicitly covers only the following items:

  • Design Selection: Implementation of a chosen high-performance layout.
  • Professional Setup: Technical configuration and launch.
  • Domain: .com domain registration & renewal (managed by Cwd.).
  • Hosting: Fast & secure hosting (99.9% uptime target).
  • Security: SSL certificate installation and maintenance.
  • Optimization: Basic on-page SEO setup (meta tags, structure).
  • Maintenance: Regular backups and technical updates handled by us.
  • Responsiveness: Mobile and tablet optimization.
  • Revisions: One round of post-launch revisions (text/image swaps).

*Any features not listed above (e.g., custom coding, content writing, advanced monthly SEO) are out of scope and billable separately.

3. Payments & Billing

  • Custom Projects: A non-refundable deposit of 50% is required to reserve production time. The balance is due upon completion.
  • Foundation Plan (Rental): Billed annually. Failure to pay the renewal fee will result in service suspension after a 14-day grace period.

4. Intellectual Property Rights

For Custom Builds: Upon full payment, the client is granted 100% ownership of the website code, design assets, and content.

For Foundation (Rental) Plans: The website code, templates, and systems remain the exclusive property of Cwd. The client is granted a license to use the site while the subscription is active. You may not duplicate or move the site code to another provider.

5. Domain Name

Domains registered under the Foundation Plan are administered by Cwd. for service continuity. Use is licensed to you while your subscription is active. We will never repurpose your domain for another client. If you wish to transfer the domain out, an administrative transfer fee may apply.

6. Client Obligations

The client agrees to provide necessary content (text, images, credentials) in a timely manner. Delays in providing content will result in a delay in the project timeline.
